Jeffrey S. Banaszak, PT, CSCS
President and Founder

Jeff received his B.S. in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, NY, in May of 1996. With more than twelve years experience in working in the golf industry, Jeff has been named to the national advisory board for the BACKtoGOLF Sports Medicine Network, served as chairman of the NSCA Golf SIG executive council, and most recently was named a member of the TPI Medical and Health Advisory Board.
As president and founder of Back9Fitness, Inc., Jeff has created a unique company that specializes in products and services to improve your golf game. As of 2006, Back9Fitness has expanded its services to include Back9Tour Services, providing staff at weekly professional golf events. Jeff travels to more than 30 PGA TOUR events annually. His unique hands-on services have become popular with many of the top touring professionals and have been made available week-to-week in his state-of-the-art mobile golf performance center.

Craig Knight, RMT, GFMP

Craig comes to Back9Performance from Toronto, Ontario, where he serves as the Kinetics director of the The Golf Institute at Bond Head. He is a Registered Massage Therapist who also specializes in Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention, and Soft Tissue Rehabilitation. Craig has been certified as both a TPI Golf Fitness Medical Professional Level II and CHEK Golf Biomechanics Professional. Craig utilizes his education in biomechanics, exercise physiology, kinesiology, and knowledge of the game to design scientifically sound practical and customized programs that optimize golf specific flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. Craig assists all golfers in achieving their optimal playing potential through the analysis, assessment, and correction of their biomechanical weaknesses.



Victor Trasoff-Jilg, ATC, PES
Director Back9Performance Conditioning

Victor has spent the past nine years working as an Athletic Trainer in professional baseball, most recently with the Detroit Tigers as their Minor League Medical Coordinator. In that capacity, he oversaw the medical health of more than 200 players and staff, including rehabilitation of post-operative, short and long term injuries for minor and major league players. In addition to the rehabilitation of many of the same injuries that professional golfers experience, Victor is certified as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, which is a functional sport conditioning certification focused on correcting muscular imbalances before instituting performance-based exercises.


 

Amy Goodson, MS, RD, LD
Director Back9Performance and Back9Tour Services Performance Nutrition

Amy is the sports dietitian for Ben Hogan Sports Therapy Institute and specializes in building nutritional programs for golfers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Amy’s current clients range from the high school athletes to professional level golfers. Amy is currently the personal dietitian for Hunter Mahan, PGA TOUR® Member, as well as many other professional golfers.






Dr. Ron, Barke
Back9Performance
Vision Consultant

Dr. Barke is a board certified in Ophthalmology and completed his training at the UT/Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His practice consists of general ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery and glaucoma. Dr. Barke has a special interest in golf fitness and performance and is the official vision consultant for the program. His practice in Arlington, Texas is fully equipped to be able to diagnose and treat any eye condition that a golfer might experience
