Parent Education – This is the entry point into our junior performance program. Junior golf needs to develop fundamental movement skills, establish functional movement patterns, develop sport specific skills, teach golf-specific skills and most importantly create a love for the game. This process starts with you the parent. Each individual parent will be oriented to our facility and available services. Our staff will review with you the goals, current & past health history of your junior to determine which service program would be most effective. Lastly, our staff will discuss with you the concept of Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD) and how the science of LTAD can be used to help kids become golfers. FREE
Junior Golf Evaluation
FUNdamental Phase Screen (ages 6 – 14) – The goal of this screen is to determine your child’s developmental age. This screen will focus on locomotion, object control, stability and awareness, functional movement and height measurements, all of which are fundamental components of Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD). The session will be video taped and reviewed allowing us to make recommendations on which programming level the junior should begin; beginner, intermediate or advanced. Each parent and junior will receive a written report of these findings. (90 minutes) $99
